Apart from being Pierpont's amanuensis, Trevor Sykes has also managed to write a few books. They are:

Two Centuries of Panic
(Allen & Unwin, 1988) Republished in 1998. A history of corporate collapses in Australia from the early shaky days of the Bank of New South Wales in the early 19th century through to the collapse of the Bank of Adelaide in 1979.

The Bold Riders
(Allen & Unwin, 1994) Republished in 1996. The story of Australia's corporate cowboys of the 1980s. Featuring Laurie Connell, Alan Bond, Christopher Skase, Abe Goldberg and many, many more.
